Worse. It's a skunk box that's taunting you with three coppers.

Deal writes: Are you able to sort at will again?

I was getting negative feedback from the wife even though I sold all my hoard to Horgad, and the deal was if I didn't sell any coins in 2008 she could spend them at her leisure. I showed her the money and she still wasn't happy. She says I have taken over the basement with my coin sorting. I only have maybe 5% of the space dedicated to sorting. We both want the basement finished so I told her any profit I make from the coins would go to our basement finishing fund. She is now in full support of the coin hoarding, and has even started helping on a very limited basis.

My coins have been banished from the upstairs sunroom off the kitchen (ok and the kichen table and in front of the TV) to the basement. I'm still insisting on shucking rolls upstairs and rolling coin upstairs but have to clean up each time. Ryedale and operator is happier in the basement now. I have to admit I created quite a mess!

Perhaps the new Camcorder I just won today at a bank because I went in to buy coin and entered the draw will make her happier :)

I got banished to the garage long ago. Got it all insulated and sheetrocked first. Now my penny processing center is a nice cozy little man cave for me to escape into.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

A very nice little profit for a coin buying stop :) I entered this weeks contest while I was there for a blueray & game. Maybe I can do a repeat LOL.

First penny box sorted in about 6 weeks (moved and had a trip in that timespan) and it feels good to get back at it.

899 1959-82 Cu cents 35.96%
9 wheats
11 Canadian cents

Cu and Canadian cents were above normal, wheats below normal but overall very happy with the box.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

Just got back from vacation. No coin buying but did find a 1948 D penny in the take-a-penny tray. I was on a hiking trip so no provisions to hit up banks for CWRs.

Why not load a few Brinks boxes in the back of the backpack. Make a man out of you.

Did another penny box today:

805 Cu cents 1959-1982 32.2%
5 wheat cents
5 Canadian cents

Disappointing box from the standpoint of being below average in all 3 categories. Oh well...the hunt resumes on Friday.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.
