I know I haven't posted much recently but tonight I Had a first!!!
I found my first silver inside of a bag of pennies!!!
1918 50 centimes .835 silver!!!! Life is good!
my 8 year old daughter latched onto it fast pointing out that she always gets all of the foreign coins ... Ok maybe she got the better end of that foreign coin deal tonight!! lol
also had another bag that had just under $47 copper out of $50.

Cross Border visit to a Bank of America: 6 rolls dimes and two rolls of 1/2s. No silver, not even a Canadian dime from a bank within sight of the border! |

When on a penny run and picked up $50 CWR and some boxes.
After a year sorting I found my first box of new pennies, 2008-D. Found my 5th Indian, a nice 1889 (2nd of this date). A marked 't' or 'X' on a 1991 penny. And a Very Scary $10 of CWR rolls that have no Coppers in them, so I think I may have company.
Still holding 27% in Michigan. |

sorted $95 in cwr's as well as a few 5 gallon buckets. I was surprised at the wheat percent. Not sure of the exact percent. according to the ryedale counters, I got 30.00% tonight.
I found an AU 1969 JFK facing lincoln tonight, there is no glue on the back from the card.. This is my second one of these that I have found.
I also dropped an indian head into the unsorted bucket and found it hoping it could find a buddy down there, unfortunately I'm still looking for my first IH. |

Picked up $10 in plastic Brinks rolls from my main bank today, and Monday and Thursday of last week, and from my secondary bank on Wednesday... still not a copper in the lot.
Got another $30 in CWRs from drive-bys, which averaged out to 15% |
Considering Verizon Business service? Perhaps you'd like to consider a nice drain cleaner enema instead? |

It is hot and humid here today, and I have really fallen behind on my sorting. So, I sorted a little today. A little break down.
C.U. bags (4) $65 4467 Cu 69% $50 3238 Cu 65% $50 1194 Cu 24% $112.50 3013 Cu 27% $277.50 11912 Cu 43% Total
CWR $100 2549 Cu 25% $100 3244 Cu 32% $200 5793 Cu 29% Total
Grand totals for the day. $477.50 17705 Cu 37%
If I could get the rest of my pile sorted that would be great. At least I got the pile knocked down a little bit. Many boxes to go....

Every little bit counts. Someday I will have to look through the coppers for any wheats or other goodies. In the above totals I did get a nice '21 King and some older wheats in the rejects. I'm a zinc-first-pass-followed-by-a-copper-pass guy. Works well for me. Except in the Indian category.... Keep up the steady pounding. Are you able to sort at will again?
