Just picked up my biggest order for sorting. $500 with another pickup from the same source next week for another $350. I have a fun question, I thought it would be appropriate to post here.
After sorting less than $5, I hit a 1936. No biggie, but hey better than a pitted zinc! So another $5 in or so I get ANOTHER 1936. I mention it to my wife, and ask her "Coincidence, or will I find a 3rd in this bag (of $50)? Her opinion, I will find more. $8 more, and she was CORRECT. I have sorted $18 of a $850 pickup and found 3 1936 lincolns.
My rhetorical question for all of you, how many 1936 Lincolns do you think I will find in the lot of $850? The only details I would like to share is that, besides this unlikely coincidence, this lot appears to otherwise be very ordinary for what I find around here. The 1936 cents I have found are maybe VF - XF.
Also found a 1928.

February Finds:
2 1939s (one in excellent condition) 3 1937s 1 1936 2 1934s 2 1930s 1 1928 1 1911
Usually I average 5 or 6 a month, but I had a few particularly good boxes. |

If it is in a box then you may find on more in the first $25. I would say you will. If it is a bag, then you will find two more.
Other that than you will not find another one for a while
