Well then, I guess I should get in on that as well. That 1930's penny is really scratched up, but I can try to see if I can make out the date here. . . |

Okay... hold on... I got sidetracked by two beautiful distractions :)
Here we go.
Decade breakdown: 10-19: 11 found 20-29: 12 found 30-33: 2 found 34-39: 24 found (49 total found since the last update)
New finds: fasteddy's 26d, bman's 33, and agcoinhunter's 39d makes it 69 out of 86 for 80% completion.
For the time being, for those "partial date" finds which are discernible as being pre-40 coins, I am adding an "unknown" line.
EDIT: one more stat. STILL no 1917S with a mintage of 32.6 million, even though 48 total coins have been found with lower mintages. |

NEW STATISTIC... I figured out a way to tally everything by member, which at first I thought was easy... it turns out it took a little while. So I won't be doing this very often, maybe once a month. Out of 47 total participants so far, here are a couple of top tens:
MOST TOTAL FINDS: bman.............86 bluegill.........56 jobiii...........33 kirkland.........32 cwgii............30 sheba............21 beauanderos......17 rakattack........16 jonascollegefund.15 coinwolf.........14
MOST DIFFERENT COINS FOUND: jobiii...........33 bman.............24 bluegill.........24 cwgii............20 kirkland.........16 rakattack........16 sheba............15 beauanderos......15 jonascollegefund.14 coinwolf.........12 |

Just pulled out a 1910 that was in pretty decent shape.
I've found a 1909 before, but it's condition wasn't as good as this one. I think I had a 1930 wheatie a few days ago as well.
Still patiently waiting for the first Indian though! |
