Me? I'm a freelance 3d artist and photographer. Not really the best business to be in, considering I mostly work in architecture. Working on diversifying to reach a broader market.
What does everybody else do to pay the bills? Is there anybody that can make a living wage on pennies alone?

| Not me. I am a fabricator/machinist and also do home remodeling on the side. I am currently in school to become an RN and hopefully some day an anesthetist. Mostly a student if anything. |

I design and engineer plumbing and sprinkler systems for all types of buildings, (some high profile) from office buildings, hotels, hospitals, museums, airports, laboratories, high rises, just to name a few. I engineer everything from storm and sanitary drainage systems including rainwater harvesting, gray water recycling, on site underground water storage tanks, cisterns, detention ponds, to multizone pumping systems, hot and cold water distribution systems. Also, medical & laboratory gasses such as oxygen, compressed air, vacuum, helium, nitrogen, co2, natural gas and nitrious oxide. Sprinkler systems can be anything from standard wet pipe systems, deluge, dry, to double interlock preaction systems, to gasous agents such as FM200, CO2, intergen, foam, and we are just getting into designing water mist systems on a larger scale.

| I own a small real estate and mortgage brokerage in Ohio. Been doing that since 1976. My work centers mainly around commercial mortgages, mostly nursing homes and Residential Care facilities. I am 61 years old, or as my login reflects, 2old. |

Full time mechanical engineering student, hope to go into manufacturing or some sort of alternative energy field (perhaps manufacturing alternative energy systems). Being an engineering student is a full time job in itself...a few other students and I looked over course loads with our advisor and found that we could take the same course load on the other side of campus (the college of arts and sciences, and the college of management), and come out with three separate degrees in the same time it takes to get our engineering degree
Work at family machine shop when needed. General machine shop services, food packaging equipment design and fabrication, plastic injection mold building and molding, and all sorts of odds and ends. The biggest project we have right now is making molds for 3D glasses...lots of 3D movies and home entertainment coming out in the next year, so the company we are building them for has set a very tight time line.
Computer repair and technology support. I manage about a dozen other student employees on campus, and our group handles hardware repairs, warranty work for Dell laptops, and advanced software issues that can't be solved out front at the Tech Desk. We also get to clean up all of the student laptops that fall victim to spills and drops (lots of spills on a college campus...). I have done a lot of freelance work, building computers for personal and commercial applications, setting up networks, reimages, etc.
Oh yeah, I also run this website called The Copper Cave . Before this venture, I sold model trains online for several years. Before that, I built bird houses out of scrap wood and sold them at craft shows. I've had some sort of business going since middle school. |

| My screen name gives me away, if you figure out what it actually says. I'm a youth minister. I've also done some auto body repair and construction work in the last year, since times were tight. |

I am a courier, transporting classified documents from building to building in the Federal Triangle area of Washington DC. It used to be fun, but ever since 9/11 it's been tough. The metal detectors mean I can no longer carry a weapon for protection, but at least they let me keep my hot pink mohawk and Elvis tattoos. I've never liked blending into crowds.

I am a Business Intelligence consultant, that is a fancy way of saying self employed. I specialize in software called IBM Cognos. I am NOT and IBMer! If any of you need consulting help with multi-dimensional analysis, data mining, meta data modeling, metrics management, Cognos BI, . . . I know a consultant that charges half as much as IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, et Al. The funny part of that is that I am the guy that teaches all of the above how to do this stuff. Business is a little slow right now, thus the time to sort Cu and Ag.

Senior in high school right now. When the CVS Pharmacy opens up down the road I'm going to try to get a job there.
I have already taken college iT(computer) classes but I don't think that isn't right for me. I start my first semester of college next fall but I have absolutely no idea what I will be majoring in. I have had so many ideas: Agriculture, Butchery, Commercial Fishing, Teacher, Vending Machine Operator, Mill Work, Retail Management and many more. I guess it is too early for me to know for sure now. |

| Umm interesting topic here. I'm currently working for Halliburton as a drilling fluids engineer/ Field Service Representative. I basically do all the testing and formulation required for Oil based and water based drilling muds on location or at Halliburton Mud Plants in East Texas and North Louisanna. In college I recieved a bachelor's degree in design and drafting and planned on using it to become an Architect but.... Halliburton pays very nicely and I can't seem to find the time to go back for my master's degree anyways. |

| I own a construction/property management business. I also buy and sell real estate, not as an agent, but as an investor. I also buy and sell on craigslist and ebay regularly, and I have the crazy coin guy website selling copper pennies and other coins. I go back and forth from Vermont to Colorado depending on work. I have never had a real job, well maybe for a few months right out of college but, most all my life I have worked for myself doing one thing or another. I hope to never have to get a real "job". |
visit www.crazycoinguy.com for information on how to sort, what to sort, and sorting equipment. We also sell copper pennies in bulk, and other coins. |

| I retired in 2004 after working for decades as a systems programmer on DOD Navy Systems. I majored in Math in college learning computer techniques via OJT as did many others in the early days. I finished the last 26 years of my career at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). |
