That is now been 20 years. worked in stores and grocery distribution centers. i like the work in the distribution center better, but being 2 miles from work is nice.

I have been a nurse for 20 years. After three years working with computers as a nurse I found I make a better nurse than computer programer. I am working in the hospital again.

Silver Monometalism is the most permanent and stable form of money the world has seen. Natural law and history prove silver value is best multiplied by gold and best divided by copper. It is only in this counterfeit currency time when the natural law appears suspended.

I am an IT type; I spent 15 years installing and fixing minicomputers and mainframe computers in NYC mostly, then spent another 13 years as a programmer various places. I also ran my own "Clone" PC business from the late 1980s until the early 1990s. Now I'm an Application Analyst. Interesting, I manage a RiskMaster application from CSC and also the BI business intelligence application among others.
I enjoy hearing what everyone else does.

I am a technician at an electric power plant. I work for an engineer. We do plant efficiency testing and make recommendations for better operation and maintenance. Tomorrow (Sat) we are going in to test 2 circulating water pumps. They pump 70,000 GPM each of water thru a 84 inch line. I do the field work (not by myself) and then build or modify spreadsheets to figure out the results. Tomorrow will be O.T.

Hi all-

I'm a Special Education teacher assistant, and I am thankful every day to have a job. Pay is not great, but it's a JOB. The plan is to be a teacher in a small-ish high school. As for kids these days...keep hoarding! No, there are still tons of good kids out there. However, students are VERY aware of the future this country faces. (My students are at least...)

I love Cents. If you get an UNC box, you win. If you get a regular circ. box, you win. If you get a zinc box, you don't lose....so you still win.

Equipment operator in directional drilling. I work with a company that has a contract with ATT to install fiber-optic communication cables. I usually operate the excavator, but have run the drill on occasion.

I hate it. Sh!ts always breaking, it's either too hot or cold, when the ground is froze with large ammounts of water, you aint working, you never know when the locator marked something WAY off and your about to bust into a gas line, water line, etc... and have to shut the services off to the entire block (sorry yall, I hate it too), and did I mention stuff breaking? Constant destruction.

I want a new job

HVAC/R installer for a small family owned business. NOT my family. In fact, I'm the only one that isn't in the family. It keeps me busy and they take pretty good care of me.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I'm a professional realcent poster - so much so I started a blog recently.

I've started and ran companies in the the real estate development/landlord business, cold storage, security and food manufacturing industries. After my father turned against me my job is to extract my assets from his control.

Currently I'm working on various new projects to reorient my life to work ON my businesses not IN my businesses. I'm also fostering a writing career because I feel like it.

Yes, I know he is talking about logging. Logging is too much hard work for me! I'd never last at that job.
