I am enjoying the finds of others. Can't wait til it's my turn again. I believe in the brute force method when percentages are low and increase and further diversify my orders. If I get 8 or more boxes in a week and only a ew silvers, I can't imagine spreading that out over months.
Yesterday I had some money from selling a car. Got my fix before going to coin show this weekend and went to my local dealer and snapped up some premium gold and silver for spot. Price is already up a little today.

uthminsta - Your SILVER connection is quite impressive. Since it seems like your best friend's wife is asking you to sell her SILVER, I'm not going to add this hoard to our stats.
Since it looks like you're selling the 40%ers, why not post some of your hoard for sale in the BUY-IT-NOW section of RealCent. You might be surprised how much interest there would be, especially if you offer it at a good price. I'd probably be interested too. |

| Thanks Country. Yeah, I was probably gonna offer it there, once I find out how much all my local guys want. I have a handful of acquaintances who buy as much as they can afford. No shipping costs or risks that way. |

Only thing I did get was .26 in mis-sorted change. (quarter and cent)

I picked up six boxes today from two banks. I was expecting two from this branch of my new source bank and got four when the teller worried if she remembered my order correctly. Thrilled. Another branch of the same new bank has made a huge deal of me ordering and when this week came after ordering last week, said they would not start till next week. So all is well. Except...
After sorting one box from each pair half, I have nothing to show for it.
3 Boxes-Skunk!
3 to go.
Coin show starts tomorrow. Don't plan on buying anything and will use my strategy of returning on the last day, last hour, when breakdown begins, to throw low offers.
Paid off big time before. Last year I got several tubes of BU Morgans, different years (no 21's) for $300-$320 Gold at spot (just $830/toz)

$30.00 in halves from an middle-aged, scowling, mildy rude woman:
SKUNK!
$5.00 in halves from the tray of a sexy Russian teller in her early 20's: 2 90% 64's.
I love going into a bank, giving them a $20, and getting $12 worth of silver and $19 change back :) |

SCORE = (COINS-SEARCHED) * (SILVERs) / 8500
COINS-SEARCHED = NICKELS + DIMES + QUARTERS + HALVES
SILVERs = WNs + SILVER-DIMES + SILVER-QUARTERS + SILVER-HALVES (40%+90%+SILVER-PROOFS)
All SILVERs have been tracked since Jan 1. However, they have to be posted in this thread to count. If you are correcting something, please post with a reference to the post that was wrong. |
