| Picked up my weekly (on order) 4 boxes of pennies at a bank close to my home... One was all 2009 Lincoln Cents, as the lady looked into the holes, she said she couldn't give me that one. I protested (I wanted to sell it on ebay), but she didn't budge. I was a little upset at that "B-Bank lady". Her response was: "we don't get many and they shouldn't have been there". |

Sounds like you have a penny facist at your bank. I would have probably asked where in the bank's policy gives her the right to do that. The banks sometimes seem to make the rules up as they go and don't even know their own corporate policies.
I found 2 more 2009-Ds in my sort today. I'm only finding D's but that is probably because I don't live far from Denver. |

I just went to a small coin show in CT today. Only 1 dealer had the 2009 pennies. He said he has been to banks all over CT with no luck. He got them from a guy who got $35 in rolls. The guy only sold him $5 worth. He traded 2 rolls of 2008 pennies for 1 roll of 2009 pennies, a total of 10 rolls 08 for 5 rolls 09. Now he is selling the 2009 pennies for $1 per penny or $5 for 6 pennies. He also sells the 2008 pennies as the last year of the Lincoln Memorial for $3 a roll. If he hasn't found any I wonder how I can hope to find any . |

I'm usually not one to bicker, but that would have made me get the manager. She already had them in hand, but then said never mind. Wouldn't fly with me. Why shouldn't they be there? | After starting this thread a few weeks ago, I have finally gotten my first in circulation from one of my cashiers at work here in Maryland. Over the past few months they have also pulled over 100 wheats for me the oldest being a 1927. Thanks to everyone for contributing to this thread! Cheers! |

| They made about 64 million of them you wouldn't think they would be that hard to find. I have several banks keeping an eye for them for me and I have yet to come up with any either. |

| Went to Bank of America in Atlanta to get halfs. Asked for $10 in pennies. All were bank rolls of Log Cabin, P mint. Also got one at post office today. I put the rolls up on ebay to try to catch the tail end of the craze. |

| Hello all, went searching for 09 cents no luck at the second bank no luck as i walked to my car there on the ground was a shiney coin. i bent over to pick it up, it was a 09 cent no damage to the coin , you have to look up! but it pays to look down. this one goes into my collection PEACE!!! |
