yielded $17.75 in copper. 71% There were 25 wheats and 5 canadian kings including a 1928 and 1929. I am going back to get more next week. |

Nice, really nice.
Everyone else seems to have good reports lately too. I wonder what is up with so many wheats and so many old Canadian showing up in the rolls all of a sudden???
Continued success. |

$20 in pennies from WaMu yesterday (1 cwr and 39 bwr). 11 s mints 0.5%; 1 Australian nickel (2004); 4 Canadian ('33 (my 2nd George V!!), '75, '80, '81) 0.2%; 56 wheats (oldest was a '20, also found a '38 in GREAT shape) 3%; 80 1982 4%; 649 Cu 32%; 1,199 Zn 60%. This is the highest Cu % I've ever had so far; also the 2nd highest number of wheats I've ever had. Broke my record for largest number in a roll (one roll had 6, two others had 5; my previous record was 4). All in all, a good score!!

Oh now worries. We moved over the course of a one month period because of how much crap we have, so that took away good sorting time. And then I didnt do hardly any during the football season. I went back and looked at my sorting spreadsheet and found that nearly 75% of my sorting was done between Jan and May, with over 1/3 of the yearly total done in March alone. I didnt realize how easy I had taken it during the 2nd half of the year. Oh well, I'll re-evaluate my goals for 2009 and see if I cant make it happen. |

another 10k
changed sorting yet again 1959--21 60-64==129 65=7 66-69== 108 70-74==295 75=97 76-79==426 80-1==320 ============1403 cu 82==180 cdn=16 others==dime-10 wheats==33 s mint== 49/// this is the 68-74s
the reasoning is this.. i want to make up rolls from each year and mm. by breaking down to 5 year spans, i will have a managable 10 cups to sort into.
i reroll the 82s and turn them in, when the teller says. i need to keep some. i say, how many are you going to keep? can i bring in that many , that i have already sorted.. sometimes it works.
i had not thought of seperating the s mints until the last couple weeks.
the wheats, i put the 1940-58 into one jug. the pre 40 goes in another , very small jar.
