I live in Michigan and found my 1st 2008 penny this week. A couple of weeks ago I traveled to albaquerque and I got 4 cents in change for my dinner and one of them was a wheat back. i figured I might be on to something and went to a local bank and got a box of pennies and then went across the street and got 20 dollars worth at another bank. 15 dollars at the second bank was uncirculated 2007 pennies and I found several 2008 pennies in the 25 dollar box. In $1500 dollars worth of pennies in MI I have only seen 1 2008 US penny and today 1 2008 canadian penny. I'm glad there are not many new pennies here!

Oh I've gotten a few here and there.
Well, about 41 boxes of them actually.
Lucky for me I had the foresight to weigh the boxes, and a branch of my dump bank is right down the road from my primary supply bank.
I don't think that the branch will be ordering pennies anytime soon :) |

| here in Central AL I haven't seen a one. I am starting to see heavier concentrations of '07s lately. I guess a while will pass before the '08s show up. |

Oh there here MI... I Have several boxes here looking at me as I type. Quite a few banks here in Wayne County have been passing out CWI boxes of the things.

| Right at the end of April I got my first. My last 3 times I have gotten change I've had 2008's in there. Not seen any in my Brinks rolls yet, but I know they are coming. |

| They just showing up for me a couple weeks ago. Now I opened a couple boxes today that were about 1/3 08-p, many zinc, and a few coppers. |

| 12 solid boxes of 2008 P so far and counting here in Indianapolis. Alos I saw my first and only 2008 D yesterday, but I don't really look for them so probably more have passed through my hands. |

| Received an entire box of 2008 P's about a week ago here in Michigan. It was quite obvious that they were all new so I kept them a couple of feet away from the Ryedale. I don't want the Ryedale thinking that she'll see 2008's quite yet. |
When my wife got after me it sounded like "Blah,Blah,Blah", but now it sounds like "Clink,Clink,Clink". Its amazing what that Ryedale can do for a hounded husband. |

| I'm also in Michigan (seems to be a lot of Michiganders here) and I believe my first 2008 coin was from a box about a month ago. Surprisingly it was a 2008D as opposed to a 2008P. Come to think of it I don't even think I've seen a 2008P yet... |

| I've been getting them for weeks. Not only did I get solid dud boxes of them, but I've been seeing them more and more loose. I guess that's what happens when you're just outside the Philadelphia Mint. |

| Yeah. More than 5 months into the new year and not a single 2008 in the $25 boxes. They're plentiful in change for cash transactions, though. Both P and D pretty well mixed. |
Here in Wisconsin, we have some of the highest property and gasoline taxes in the US. We're squeezed so much, I have to make my daughter wear penny boxes for shoes. At least she has an endless supply. |
