Last box of pennies sorted yielded about 45% copper. Most of these coins are approaching 3 cents in melt value up here in Canada. |

GASP! The best I have done so far was 18% and most boxes run 15%. I was told to expect 30% by the people who enticed me into this hobby.
As for sorting more, I just bought a hand truck for hauling them, since I can only carry $50 at a time on my shoulder. The hand truck was $17 at Big Lots. The dollar store also had some, but they were lousy quality and cost $60. |

See Saul Mine.. It's all about location. Ny next week you will be looking for a bigger hand truck. I like the flat panel cart for hauling pennies in and out of the bank.. 660 pound capacity and I'm not holding the weight up like I would have to with a hand truck. |

I just did $10.00 and got about 16% copper, 6 wheats (including an XF 1938S) and 2 Canadians. I have a $25.00 box that should be at the bank for me tomorrow. |
Are you throwing that out? |
