I know about american coins but I do not know world coins. someone plaese help me out with these.
I found a half dollar size coin. it has magyar Nemzeti with a 3 story building. with writing below 3cd ys and other letters below that I can`t` make out. it is dirty but not damaged.
the other side is Magyar Koztarsasag with a shield of some sort with 19 on one side of the shield and the other is 93. so I`am sure it isa 1993. with a bridge below the shield. then 200 below that is BP FORINT. this coin looks silver. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I have 2 bimetalic ringed coins about the size of a nickle. they are both 1993 with N$1ON ONE SIDE. THE OTHER SIDE Estadosunidos Mexicanos. there is an eagle with a snake in his mouth. the center looks like brass. the 1/8 inch biring is? --------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2nd listing describes the "new" pesos from Mexico. New meaning back in the 90's they devalued their currency and issued new currency. The new currency had "N" before the denomination for a brief time.
...the German 50 pfennig has been demonetized and is not worth anything anymore. It might fetch a slight premium from foreign coin collecters for being the earlier "Bank Deutscher Lander" issue rather than the more common "Bundesrepublik Deutschland" issue.
