$7 loose teller halves = SKUNK

$100 in halves CWR = 1998-S SILVER proof (bad condition, but silver none the less)

The coin along with 2 others looks like someone tried to tone it...one of the coins the edges are clearly burned. This I saw the 1998 date and dumped it into the "clad" pile but it sounded different so I took it back out. Sure enough it had the S mint mark on it. No copper wear on the rims and when I took it home it weighed more than the clads that I have laying around.

I have to get myself a better scale...the one I use is a kitchen scale for food (it does weigh in grams however). It only weighs in whole numbers and I guess it rounds...had the 98'-s come in at 13g

$10 CWR of Halves that teller "had in her drawer, for a while" ...

Skunked!

First bank I have ever been to that even had enough halves to be rolled, not counting boxes I order. LOL

$3000 Halves - Brink's Boxes

5 MORE BOXES OF 1994-P BU HALVES with a one circulated mixed in one of the rolls!!!

27 OF MY LAST 29 BOXES HAVE BEEN these 1994-P BU ROLL BOXES!!

HOW LONG CAN THIS LAST, I GUESS FOR QUITE A WHILE?

The one $500 box of circulated halves had a few goodies :

1 Kennedy 90% SILVER half - '64
1 Kennedy 40% SILVER Clad - '67
13 Kennedy Clad NIFCs - '02P(2),03P,05P,'07P(3),'07D(2),'08P(2),'08D(2)

That's it for me this month. Those 1994-P BU roll boxes made it the worst month I've had in a long time.

I stopped at a bank on another out of town day trip for work. I called ahead to see who might have any halves and only one bank in the entire area had any. They had $90.00 in CWR.

one roll had:
(1) 1969-d

7 rolls of skunks

one roll was marked 1960 on the outside. I opened it up and could see the end was silver. I dumped it out and a solid roll of 40%!!

(3) 1966
(10) 1967
(6) 1968-d
(1) 1969-d

I can't believe how I have been doing for the last couple of weeks.. I hope it keeps up.
