Another brief road trip today..
Halves: Bank 1 $170.00 CWR (1) 1964-d (1) 1967 (2) 1968-d
Bank 2 $11.50 teller tray all 40%!! (2) 1965 (7) 1966 (7) 1967 (4) 1968-d (3) 1969-d
And the teller told me that I had missed out. That a little while back some lady brought in a whole bunch of coins and wanted to cash them in. The teller told me that there were some older ones in there that she had never seen, they had "Bells" on the back of them... Man I wish I had been there..
Bank 3 $6.00 teller (1) 1966
Bank 4 $4.50 teller (1) 1968-d
Bank 5 $100.00 BWR Skunk
Bank 6 $40.00 CWR (1) 1967 (1) 1969
Bank 7 $100.00 BWR Skunk
Bank 8 $50.00 CWR (1) 1967
and I spied a silver quarter in the teller tray and asked if I could buy it. She said she was saving it for someone who would like to buy it.. I smiled and said "Well that would be me". She smiled and handed it to me. (1) 1963-d Washington Quarter.
Total: (1) 90% Half (31) 40% Halves (1) 90% Quarter

The US Mint did not make any proofs in 1966; no proofs at all during the coin shortage years from 1965 to 1967. However, there were some special mint sets that they sold. Maybe you got a half dollar from that. |

I was sorting penny rolls today and on the end of a roll was this guy...

Members tell me it's an Austrian 2 Heller.
I thought I would add it to the Foreign Legion.

New SILVER stats have been posted. Look to the first post of this thread to get the details. Always look to the line just before the Kitco quotes to see the last post that was included in the latest update.
This will be the last update for April until the final April update is posted on May 1. |

My last 8 boxes:
only one skunk 3-1964 26-40% 1-walker 1942 1-1987 D 2-2006 P+D 3-2008 1-2009
All of the NIFC came from one box. I should have date sorted it. My guess is that there were more in the box. |

P.S.
The first 7 boxes had silver making it my longest streak.
The last box was the skunk. |

SMS maybe? No mintmark obviously- but definitely proof-like. Maybe just polished ? |
