I hit a few banks today..
1 $500.00 box and scored 1 silver!
40% (1) 1968-D
(2) NIFC's both 2003-D
and 1 1989-D that looked like it had been struck on a Proof Planchet. It was very mirror like.
I picked up about $18.50 in loose halves from various banks. I was getting skunked until a teller at Chase had $5.00 and of those there were (6) 40%'s..
(3) 1967
(2) 1968-D
(1) 1969-D
I picked up $200.00 in BWR of dimes.. scored 2 silver roos!!
(1) 1964-D
(1) 1964
Also decided to try $200.00 BWR quarters and got skunked..

Monday I sorted 9,000 dimes ($900) from a bank counting machine. 6 silver roosevelts, 1956 the oldest. 6 non-silver canadian dimes, and about 10 odd foreign coins.
Tuesday I sorted 4,000 quarters ($1,000) from the same bank's counting machine. No silver. But, on the bright side, only 1 canadian quarter, and no odd foreign coins.
There were no halfs in the machine. |

Country you were right to begin with.. My counting was off.. My original post was right at (24) 40%.. Sorry for all the confusion.. After yesterday's haul I am at (31) 40% and (3) 90%.. Thanks for all of your hard work..  |

My halves order came in today from two banks...6000 coins...my wife is going cr#p...ok so this is the funny part...in front of the TV is my 5 gallon bucket 2/3 full of sorted halves 3958 coins, my son tried to move the bucket   guess you had to be there! oh he is 20 and apparently not as strong as the old man I think I will finish filling the bucket tonight and them dump then on the floor...or maybe not |

First five were skunk and the sixth produced a single 1964 in the second to last roll.
