Got a nice '30P tonight.
One of my pickups has switched from dunbar to brinks and this was my first brinks box.
Gave up 2 WN and 1 buff, so I'm not unhappy with the switch.

Would three Buffalo nickels I received for free while visiting booths at the FUN Show count? If yes, I received one on the 7th, one on the 8th, and one on the 9th. The dates were a 1927, 1928, and not readable.

If you don't think these should count as Buffalo finds, then that is OK.

Hi all, new to the forum. And new to collecting, my kids and i are having a great time. We got our first 3 boxes of nickels and we found 4 Buffalo nickles (1917s, 1920, 1935, 1935).

If they were in dealers' hands, they weren't free range. But if they just happened to be in your change from coin show transactions, then they're circulating, and they'd count.

They weren't in dealers' hands nor did I receive them in change. They were attached to a card and given out at the Hobo Nickel booth where they educate people and demonstrate how Hobo Nickels were made.

No problem, though, about them not being eligible. Hopefully I'll find some this year that can put me on the board again.
