Nearly identical to last week's results. Some boxes were skunk, some only had a coin or 2, some were hot. I would give more details but It's far too exhausting even going through this many boxes. I don't anticipate doing this again for at least two weeks. I'll keep everyone updated.

Hi Everyone,
I work at a bank to get me through school ... I also happen to be well versed in precious metals and coins. I hit the jackpot! Somebody came in during the week to cash in their change. I traded dollar for dollar the following:
(29) 90% Halves (Walking, Franklin & Kennedy)
(57) 40% Halves
(3) Silver Washington Quarters
So far this week 1/25-1/31:
(1) Peace Dollar
(4) 40% Halves
(1) Washington
(3) Roosevelts
(1) War Nickel
Our Brinks coins are wrapped in plastic here instead of paper ... I have to say I love this as I can look through an entire box in a matter of minutes while I fill my vault. Just ordered a box of halves for this next week, I'll let you all know! |
You'll probably see me on A&E's Hoarders for silver hoarding someday. |

I really can't believe my good fortune today, it's one H311 of a HIGH!
(I had already bought a Lotto ticket today, so maybe it might hit for 2 Bucks, but I'm getting another one first thing tomorrow.)
Monday I plan on going back to the institution with some Chocolate and asking the teller (who said she was saving them for me since I stop in at least once a week) to be on the lookout for when the same customer comes back (and the "D's" get dumped) to ask her to put them in her drawer and save them for me. There is a crabby teller at this institution that looks like someone fed her a lemon when I stop in, I'm pretty sure she looks for Ag. I don't want her to get them!
I'll probably dream of Walkers tonight hoping they might come in soon.

However, I'm going to say that you were really in the position of a teller for these and not as a SILVER hunter searching through bags, boxes, and CWRs giving us with the details of how many dollars worth of these you have searched to find your SILVERs. So, when you report searches through bags, boxes, and CWRs thats when it will count towards your SILVER score talley. |

| The SILVER coin stats have been updated and include all data posted before this post. Due to my software upgrade to Office-2007, I lost my map making ability that I had with Office-2000. I will find an alternative way to post maps using Excel data soon. |

| Right before Wells Fargo closed at 2:00 today, I picked up six rolls of halves. Only one of those rolls was a CWR. The only silver was a 1969 40% from that CWR. |
