| I think since the government thinks the dollar is stable and silver and gold are something the average American should not be interested in then I would suggest the Mint contact the Federal Reserve and send all the remaining Silver and Gold Eagles to the banks to be distributed at face value. :-) |

I got an alert. The mint did send an email on 7-14 stating they were going to suspend sales to INDIVIDUAL COLLECTORS of gold and silver in some instances.
This was easliy confused by many people and the media published the mint had stopped gold and silver sales again. |

I called the mint fulfillment center Sunday and was told my 2009 Silver Proof set is going to ship the 17th.
They already hit my credit card, so I hope it really does ship.
I like to buy Eagles at yard sales and flea markets rather than the U$ Mint, the prices are better, but I don't get the current year that way. |
There's profit if you melt things!!
