Will the Comex silver manipulation end soon?
If silver was allowed to naturally seek its spot price level without manipulation, what price do you think that would be? My opinion is that the silver/gold ratio could go to 20 ($926 Gold/20 = $46.30 silver).

| I agree that if the silver manipulation ends, the spot price should be around $50 an ounce today, but a whole bunch of bandwagoneers will jump into silver as it makes its push up that it might touch up in the $75-$100 range during a massive buying spree before settling back down in the $50 range. One big variable is that if a large precentage of the people that hold silver right now flood the market with PM's at $50 an ounce or if they hold onto them anticipating an even higher climb down the road. If everyone holds silver as it makes its climb, and shortages start becoming apparent, the price could easily hit above $100 until inflation starts bringing it even higher. Another big variable is if the gold manipulation ends at the same time and gold starts creeping up in the $1500 - $2000 range, then silver will just follow along at an average 1:20 ratio |

| If that did happen. I'd instantly transfer all my silver into more gold. But a real audit would most likely create more cover ups and lies |

| Right now we all would love to sell our silver at $50.00 per ounce. but if it would hit that price many would hope for a higher price or things will so bad that we would (need) more silver. |

I would like to add that when everybody and their brother is talking about and buying Au and Ag. When cabbie's and every Johnny come lately start making small talk and offering "advice" about PMs. When the masses start making retirement plans based on PM's always going up in value. When that peak of the bubble arrives. That is when you sell. Because a correction is going to follow shortly after. Then you re-buy.
Look at the real estate bubble, use that as a guide.
Or just play it safe and not buy during that run up, buy now and hang on for the long haul.

I'm with you.

Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Bear Paw Mining has a rich history of gold and silver mining in Northwestern Montana and Northern Idaho. The original mines were located in the Bear Paw Mountains which in the 1880's was located in the Blackfoot Indian Reserve. Gold was first discovered in the 1860's but not in quantity until 1878 and then the rush was on! The area was mined illegally until 1888. Early in the 1900's copper and silver were found in great quantities. The original mine was called "The Bear's Paw". All the "BEAR PAWS" I've seen have the stamp CWP which I believe was the owner, CW Paulsen (not verified) but is known as the bear paw stamp. Other bars made in different years are stamped with the words "BEAR PAW MINING" but are considered rare.
Note: There is also the Bear Paw Mining Company in Alaska which goes back to 1895. |

| Most of this collection was purchased for a friend but I kept a few of these puppies! The kilo silver bars are really neat and always have a hefty premium but I got this one close to spot!! It was a sweet deal. |

Thanks for the history, I think knowing how something came into existence is just as valuable as the item itself...
Thanks again!!! Now I have to find me one of those... |
