Just wondering if there are any other ryedale owners in the state of Oklahoma. Wonder if Andy would be willing to post a list of the states and cities he has shipped to. It would be cool if someone with the know how could put one of those interactive maps on the forum that could show 1 color dot for hand sorters and one color dot for machine sorters. It would be really interesting to see the spread of this little club accross north america on a map.

I doubt that anyone would want information of there location available. I keep my location low key. I don't want any unwelcome guests trying to find my PM stash.

Heck were I live no one would suspect I hade anything of value. I like it that way.

I think that is in fact possible Merc49. Would someone with more experience shed some light on this, and if possible, create a map as Merc49 described?

Andy's list would not be very accurate. Many machines have traded hands second hand. Some people have moved. Mine was never operated in the location it was shipped too. Some machines are likely inactive. Plus, other then curiosity what use would this serve?

Well, I'll put an answer to this. I purchased my machine in Wichita, KS.... But am moving to OKC this weekend. I've operated my machine in the Oklahoma City area before, but the coins themselves were from Kansas. I spent 4 months in OKC/Moore area last year and had the machine with me. I imagine I've sorted under 500,000 coins, but I use them as fast as I sort them (Elongated coin roller). TDT

I was really just currious of any other machines in the area. The personal info of the owners is not what would be posted. Just thought that if we knew there were other opperators in the area that we could post an invite for them to contact us and maybe network info on the local banks etc.

This info could be useful for getting an idea of what areas may be most heavily sorted. If location X had 5 ryedales shipped to it, odds are anyone sorting by hand in location X would be up against some stiff competition. There are enough pennies out there that this may not really affect percentages though. It could however increase the chances of getting skunk boxes or bags, if the same banks keep getting a lot of the zincs back. Just a thought.
