Usually find 1 or 2 Canadian quarters stuck to the magnet in the opening of the Cummins Jetsort coin counter at my credit union every week. I always pick them off the magnet and put then in my empty bucket. This week I only got 2 dimes and 1 nickel. I decided to look in the opening of the coin hopper where the coins go in and spinning on top was a folder up dollar bill. I picked that out of the top after all the coins had been couinted and the spinning stopped. Also laying on toop of the machine was a brass coin from the 1700's about the size of an Eisenhower dollar but not as thick. It said copy on it. I went ahead and left it.

I probably would have pocketed the copied coin. If it is brass it will at least have a little scrap value. The dollar bill is a nice find, though.
Anyway, I'm at the point where I check the reject tray even if I'm not dumping. If I see coins in the tray I can grab them with the adroitness of a seasoned shoplifter. I usually get Canadian Quarters and dimes (some copper some steel), however I have found a few .999 NI Canadian nickels.
