I stopped off at one my banks today to grab some nickels and, just for the heck of it, I asked if they had any Kennedy halves. The answer is usually "no" but today they had a roll. I searched them on the drive home and found not one but three 40% halves (1967, 1968 and 1969). Its not exactly a roll full of Franklins and walkers, like you guys sometimes find, but its not bad considering its the second roll I've ever purchased.
Anyway, I'm sure a few of can beat this. So in honor of my dumb luck, I have to know. What's the best roll (or bag) you've ever had?

Nice find! Silver is silver is silver  I had two rolls of walkers and franklins once. Usually the banks I go to don't have any halves either. You just have to hit them at the right time and get a little lucky.  |

Finding silvers in a CWR is always a treat , no matter how many silver you find in that roll. Good find!

I've been pretty lucky with SW nickels as well. I've found nine in about 240 rolls, but not surprisingly I've hit a drought. I guess I used up all my good luck early on. It will probably be a while before I find another silver half as well.
