WELL, TODAY I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE. i picked up a registered letter from my work. i had to wait in line and sign it. it was my PINK SLIP! no, not the note to the car. it was my FIRED note. i was expecting it. i wasn't happy at my job. my boss was giving me a hard time. today i got my last paycheck.

I feel your pain (I really do!). Last year, I lost my job of 15 years due to budget cuts at my employer. I had to take a job earning 40% less than what I was making, but was happy to get a job with benefits. I start a new job Monday paying better than my last job, but still less than my first one. You just gotta keep your head up and network, network, network........You'll find something (maybe something better than the one you just lost!). |

Hang in there. It's tough, but since you weren't happy at your job, look at this as an opportunity to find a new job that you will love. |
