This is a crappy picture of a coin i found about a month ago in a roll i got from a chase bank. It was a hand roll from an account holder, not a machine roll. anyways after about 3 hours of searching on line i found a picture of it. It is a 2nd century A.D. Greek Ionian coin. Not sure if the "Ionian means an area or a people or what". Any ways it is my most interesting find so far. I? dont know if it is really worth much.
Someone else on here recently found something like this not too long back
That was probably me. I posted about it in one of my other threads a while back. "Deal" wanted to see picks, but I didnt know how to upload picks then.
Just goes to show that coins can really last and be used in commerce. It has got to be worth more then the penny you paid for it.
