I set a new record in my sorting today. Two plastic pennies in one box! I have gotten plastic pennies before, but usually in CWR. I don't remember getting any before in Bank wrapped rolls. Maybe this is the new material they will be making the pennies out of starting next year, and this was just an experiment.
I also found an 11-D in G.

| Yeah when I was sorting a lot I would find those every so often. I figured they were either part of a game or those dollar store bags of fake money with coins. I have a bag that I put all of my "wacky" finds in. |

It is probably a fairly accurate looking (except made of plastic) penny that comes in educational kits to teach children (or older) the value of our money, how to count money, how to make change, etc.

I have one. It was in a CWR along with some other odd items.
That is why I avoid those CWR. |

| only good thing about CWRs is that it has interesting stuff sometimes. Like foreign coins that would be rejected by a machine. |

I get them in bags sometimes. Not sure how they make it through the bank's machine, but they do sometimes....

I have found them before in CWR.. usually by having them jam the Ryedale. But I thought it was really odd to find 2 in generic tan bank wrapped rolls. Those machines must be getting pretty sloppy.. none of my automatic rolling machines would roll these. |

Maybe your machines are just not up to the task at hand. Maybe you need more adaptable machines? |
