What have you brought home from scrappin that your wife or sig other were not to happy to have in the yard?
Today it was a 16' plastic and aluminum canoe. I live in the desert who would think I would find one!

| Put up a sail for the kids or grandkids as the need arises and if all else fails, invite her aboard your yacht for dinner and drinks. Maybe even get her to sunbathe on deck. |

| Until the other day I had an old Motorcycle and a busted riding mower. I finally gave them to a fellow scrapper. |
Are you throwing that out? |

Do you skin it yourself and take in the fur? How do you get rid of the stench and nastiness? |

| I guess you don't have that problem as much if you know it's a fresh kill. I tried this once with a fox I knew had been killed the same day but I didn't really have the time to take care of it and it spoiled. A native guy I was working with had said to stretch out the skin and smoke it over a poplar fire but I was too busy and didn't get around to it. Eventually the skin got brittle and the fur started falling out. |

| Way back when the Peanut Farmer was President fur was paying big bucks. I ran a trapline but also picked up fresh roadkill during my travels. Red fox were worth $85, grey fox $65 and raccoons $45. The road kill was pretty torn up at times but an experienced fur handler can hide the damage from the buyers. Finding a red fox along the road then was like finding a couple free rolls of 40% kennedys laying along the road. |
