Whats your fav....

Can be OBV from one and REV from other.

I like the statue of liberty from the new dollar coins

The eagle from REV. of kennedy half dollars or the
eagle from 1oz silver eagle.

It occurred to me that the new presidential dollars, with the Statue of Liberty on the reverse, are the first US coins since 1947 (60 years) to feature Lady Liberty, albeit a specific incarnation of her. Her last appearance was on the walking liberty half dollar.

My favorite designs include the liberty bell reverse of the Ben Franklin 50cent, Jefferson's profile on the 5cent obverse, and the agricultural wreath on the Indian Head 1cent reverse.

For best overall single coin, I think the Shield Nickels hit the right combination of stateliness and simplicity. There's no mistaking that strong shield obverse, nor the star-spangled 5 on the reverse.

I'd love to see more plants depicted on our coinage.

I'm an animal guy myself. I like the eagle on the reverse of the walking liberty half, and of course the buffalo nickel. Of the four recent Lewis and Clark nickel designs, I see the buffalo far less than the other three. I think others like and save these as well.

I like the Canadian 1967 "rabbit" nickel and the 1994/5 "V" victory nickel.

Me too. There may be others I like better, but I can't think of them right now.

I'm also fond of the reverse of the Ike dollar: eagle on the moon. The moon rules.

If you are asking which coin surfaces I like the most here are mine in order.

The old US bust dollars from about 1800 etc.
Then I like the simplicity of the back of the wheat and Indian head cents.
Then I really like both sides of the Indian head, buffalo nickels.

I missed this topic during it's first go round.

My favorite design is the Walking Liberty half, front and back. Great coin!

A few other opinions....
Although I pretty much abhore the 50 state quarter designs, the reverse of the Nevada quarter with the galloping horses is really growing on me. Very dynamic.
And that picture of the 1967 Canadian bunny is really cute.
I don't like the Franklin half. Even uncirculated, well-struck specimens make ol' Ben look soft and uninspiring. And the little tiny eagle on the back looks like he has arms instead of wings, and he's flexing his muscles.
The 2005 nickel with the closeup of Jefferson is nice. Wish they'd go back to it. Much better than the other new one that shows off his bangs. (sorry Ardent Listener! )

I know some of you will think I'm crazy, but I don't like the Saint Gaudens Double Eagle. Liberty just doesn't look right to me. I much prefer Gaudens's other designs.

I like the Morgan reverse and the Peace obverse. The 1921 high-relief Peace is the one to look at.
The two eagles on the modern gold bullion coins look frightened.
The shield nickels are impressive if not worn down too much.
I could go on all day.........

The Standing Liberty quarter obverse is a beautiful design, to me, but from a practical standpoint it was just terrible.
i think my favorite reverse designs are the stylized eagles of the Imperial German, Polish, and Austrian coinage (i'd have to sort through them to pick just one)... the level of detail is just incredible

Considering Verizon Business service? Perhaps you'd like to consider a nice drain cleaner enema instead?

Very hard to beat the Saint-Gaudens reverse.

The Walking Liberty design is amazing. That is what drew me to ASEs in the first place. This would be good to put in a poll format.

Walking Libery Half Dollar.. designed by Adolf Alexander Weinman. He used his tenant Elsie Stevens as the model. I have the complete set of 65 coins as well. Completed it 35 years ago. Those 21 and 21-D coins were killers even back then. I particularly like the coin in Proof. I don't have all the proofs yet.

I have spares of both of those.. but I can't sell them for melt value.

I like the Trade Dollar also.. both sides. Question: Is the Trade Dollar legal tender?
