Well is there? I got one from the bank today and it is in decent condition for a 5 or 6 year old bill, but since it is 60 years old I thought I would check and see.

Since there is no picture of it, I wil say it is easily worth at LEAST 10.00.

It is probably worth keeping. Did you check E-Bay?

Worth about 25% over face to a currency collector.

In other words about $12.50 and up depending on condition and what series the note is.

Since the economy tanked, collector paper currency took a hard hit.
Dealers around here only want the best they can find and are paying way less than they were 2 years ago.

Ultimately though, it's worth what ever someone is willing to pay.

If you can sell it for anything over face, sell it...

If all else fails.

Use it to buy silver...

In the words of a local dealer when he told me some of my star notes were not worth more than face (yet), "Its not like you have to spend it."

In other words, you can always put it in plastic and forget about it for a couple decades and see what happens.

Wouldn't you recommend going and buying silver with it? By the time inflation hits, that $10 might not be worth much anymore ;-)
