Ok, I started saving them again. Almost all the Canadians I get here in the USA (Border city, right on the border) are all copper. My theory is that once a Canadian penny comes into the USA, it never leaves so that may be why all the coppers?? I have 405 Canadians from 3 boxes ($75 sorted). About a dozen old kings.
Here in Michigan I'd say I get 3 to 4 % Canadians. Of the Canadians I get I'd say about 80% are 96 and before. With a good % of those being 70's and before. Yeah once they cross the boarder they tend to stay here for a while.
That's about what I'm getting unless I go to one of the inner city banks and get lucky. By the way, I dump at HSBC . I only sort about two boxes a month so the chances of getting mine are low.
Got a nice Canuk-A-Cent today, the Queen with a ribbon in her hair and showing a bare shoulder! I think that one ranks #2 after the Dove Cent with the more more common Canuk-A-Cents I find.
