I'm just putting them back in the boxes loose and stacking them in the back of the closet and under the bed for now.

I can get about 44-45 rolls loose back into the boxes.

I've started off using large Tyvek envelopes with an adhesive strip. I can easily fit more than $60 into each one, and I'm amazed at how strong the Tyvek is. I have yet to have an envelope to tear--the notable exception being Wednesday, when I dropped a bag at the bank and pennies went EVERYWHERE! It made me the center of attention for just a tiny little moment.

"What's wrong, people, this is a bank! Haven't you guys seen pennies before???"

Currently I'm storing them in 2 gallon buckets with locking lids like b256, but I'm looking for a counter so that I can start bagging them in $50 amounts. Even 2 gallon bucks get kinda heavy.

When my wife got after me it sounded like "Blah,Blah,Blah", but now it sounds like "Clink,Clink,Clink". Its amazing what that Ryedale can do for a hounded husband.

I store them loose in 18 gallon plastic tucker totes. Each one will hold $900 in copper cents and you can buy them at Target or wherever for less than 5 bucks each. They're also water proof if the floor of your cellar gets damp. I have begun rolling and boxing them, but that is not nearly as fun as sorting !!!
