What do you guys think a 1983 Double die reverse is worth? Its not in bad shape. Just wondering. I may decide to sell it as i dont collect errors. Thanks

i think its a very nice coin! i would imagine it would sell for a good amount. have you checked ebay for prices?

Thanks. I pulled it out of a roll last year when i was sorting for copper pennies. I remember seeing one at the same time sell for 200 on ebay. RyanAKL thanks for the link. Im going to watch it. So i guess i did good for getting it for a penny.LOL thanks guys

Could use a closer photo of the coin. Appears as the better one. If your not sure what yours is, post it on ebay as a Double Die and don't say to much. Of course the really smart thing to do would be to have it graded by PCGS so you could list it on ebay as an authenticated coin. Either way, sounds like a really nice profit coming up.

Thanks alot guys. Guess i got lucky finding it in a penny roll. Im not going to sell it just yet. Ill try and get better pics later on


Edit. Just looked at the ebay auction and it ended for 206 bucks OMG. Maybe i will sell it. Anyway thanks alot guys

You may want to reconsider selling just yet. That is a great coin to start an error coin collection. With that kind of luck and a little knowledge of what is possible out there, you might end up with a fortune in error coins.
At one coin show I go to there is a couple that sells nothing but error coins. I asked how and why so many error coins. They said a long time ago they just started pulling the slightest errors out of change and when the amount became extensive, they realized this would be something for a coin show and have been doing it now for years. They said about 75% of all thier coins came from just looking through coins.
