Are the 2008 halves issued for circulation? I've found a few p mints lately and recall looking at a red book and it showing that after the previous 7 years, they are circulating them again. Can anyone point me to some info on this. Also wondering about 2009 halves(haven't seen any of those ).
I would also be curious in the answer. 2002-2007 I know are not for circulation, and I've heard something about 2001, but what about the more recent 2008-2009?
As far as I know, it is stated "In God We Trust" on the US dollar. How can I trust this currency if I do not believe in God?
I don't think the policy on halves has changed from 2002 to present. All halves 2002-present are probably "Not Intended For Circulation".
I don't like the NIFC phrase. I think it should be called what it is, "collector demand only".
