Can someone tell me how many coins that would roughly be?

Also, how many pounds of copper that is?

I would greatly appreciate it.

Roughly $50 a gallon is what I figure.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Don't try to move it!

Where do you get a 50 gallon drum? Most drums I see are 55 gallon drums.

50 gallons is appoximately 250,000 pennies. Approx. 1667 pounds of copper pennies or 1583 pounds ACW (Actual Copper Weight).

Better get busy sorting.. 10 more gallons and you will be a member of the not so exclusive 1 ton club!

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

A one quart mason jar will hold about $13.00 in pennies. Thats packed and tamped tightly. There are 200 quarts in 50 gallons, so you would have approx: $2600 in terms of dollars or about 260,000 pennies.
