I bought boxes for about 6 months. Then I stopped in the CU behind my house. This CU is about the size of a small house.
Coin machine in the lobby and I got 1 bag on Tuesday and 2 on Thursday.
Gonna stop by again late Monday before the FED picks them up on Tuesday morning.
WHY was I buying boxes????
Pick up in bags, cut top off bag, pour in Ryedale....Repeat
Go to dump bank, pour zincs in Da La Rue, get paper money, go back to source bank.
Can you tell I am happy
SORRY HCBTT  if you have to buy boxes and roll them.

| Yes, the bags are SOOOOO much easier! Dont have to deal with wrappers or anything. Just one little bag VERY EASY! Congrats on the new credit union |

| I have the same CU across the street from work. It has the same coin machine. Gonna stop in there friday. The only thing is that I am buying from the small CU branches and I dump at the main branch.Where the BIG ,fast machine is. If they catch on I might be "busted" |

Bags are fast and easy but they sure have a lot of extra debris and misc. crap in them.
I run mine through a mesh flume to seperate the grist before it clogs the Ryedale.
Make sure you take a look through to ID any excessive wet and gunky pennies that were sitting in the bottom of grape juice jar, etc.. |

Yes it sorts into bags. $50 pennies, $1000.00 dimes, $250 nickels, $500 quartes, $1000 halves, and $1000 dollars. I don't have a coin counter so I don't know how accurate the bags are.
2 of the branches have my phone # and call when they have bags. The main branch has the "BIG" Da la Rue that I dump at. They don't seem to mind me doing this. I know all of the head tellers by name and the dump bank sees me twice a week. Which reminds me...I need to get some chocolate for the dump bank.

Don't feel too sorry for me. The edge of my plate steel workbench cracks those rolls very nicely without ever getting a nick. And the automatic rolling machines take a lot of the drudgery out of rolling them.
If any of the banks out here ever get coin machines, you know I am going to be waiting to gobble up all those bags. |
