I saw in one of the other posts that some people keep there S mint coppers separate form the others. I started to do that today and I found a handful of CWR's that contained all copper. (all 1970's in a roll, all 1960's in a roll etc.)
Here is the interesting part: As I opened the rolls I could visually look at the 50 pennies and pick out the ones that looked in the best shape(shiniest) and they were usually the S mints.
It occurred several different times. Anybody else else notice anything like this? Or have a reason why?
I have noticed this as well, I found a few S-mints in excellent shape recently. I think people that have held onto rolls and rolls of s-mint pennies in mint condition for a long time are finally dumping them into circulation because they need the cash money.
I would have a complete set of wheats if it weren't for that blasted San Francisco mint!
