I bumped into a guy dropping halves this morning at a TD bank. We got to talking and he tells me he's doing $15k per month in halves. I recommended realcent to him. - Oh yeah, and he's dumping at TD where I pick up a box a week. Make that "used to" pick up a box a week. |

@fb101 yeah, I dump at a couple TD Banks too... They use Brinks as their coin service. So basically try to avoid banks that use Brinks and there will probably be a better chance of not sorting people's dumps. |

Stopped by to pick up 2 bags of pennies at a small bank that saves me bags. I asked about 1/2's but none except what was in their counter. The nice cashier said she would let me have what was in there. $44. was what registered on the machine.
What I got:
84 - 40% 4 - 90% 1 - 2000 Canadian $1 1 - 1960-Canadian 50 Cents 1 - $10 Mexico Coin 1 - Martin Van Buren $1 2 - IDX X-MARK Tokens (not sure what these are - maybe car wash tokens) 1 - Alaska Quarter 1 - Dime 1 - 1942 Nickel 1 - Penny
Will definately ask again when I go back!

Close to three rolls of 1/2s from BoA. Nada silver. Had fun spending them - confused one young clerk at Target who had never seen 1/2s before. Then at the baby store the guy looked and said he had seen halfs but never a full roll before! I didn't mention you can get them in 500 boxes too. |

Did a couple of batches of dimes this week. First Batch - $220 dimes - no silver - 9 bonus dimes Second Batch - $229 dimes - 2 silver Rosies - 2 Bonus dimes - 1 Bonus 5 pence
Normally I don't search many quarters.. just like everybody else here.. since that seems to provide the lowest yields. But today a guy at work brought by a bag of quarters he wanted to cash in. $168 in Quarters. Took 15 seconds to count them on the Mach 7, 5 minutes to check for silver, and 1 and a half minutes to reroll using the automatic rolling machine. And surprise! I actually got silver.. a 1965 Canadian 80%er! |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |
