I just got a $25 brinks box and since I live near the border, Canadian pennies are very common. This box is unique because it contains whole rolls of pre-97 Canadian pennies with numerous King cents. I'll post the total number when I hand sort but it could be as high as 25%. Question to our Canadians: Are there any key dates to look for in Canadian cents? Error years? Thanks.

Total Canadian cents out of a $25 brinks box were 281...almost all pre 97. The oldest Canadian penny was a 1929 cent. Box also contained 8 wheats and 2 corroded dimes. The brinks box was opened and contained paper rolls. The bank lady was very happy to sell me a box as she said they are overhwelmed with change these days. Must be the economy.
