Sorry I can't help, but great score in the reject pile! All kinds of goodies there.

That is a great haul of foreign coins. I find foreign coins at sorting machines from time to time, but this is quite the stash all at once. Pictures would help greatly, and there is a how-to thread You must be logged in to see this link.. Based on your brief descriptions, here's what I think your coins are, and what they might be worth based on current exchange rates. If you're interested in selling them, PM me.

Coin A: Canada, 2 dollars (USD $1.60)
Coin B: Taiwan, 1 dollar ($0.03)
Coin C: Taiwan, 5 dollars ($0.15)
Coin D: United Arab Emirates, 50 fils ($0.01)
Coin E: Japan, 100 yen ($1.10)
Coin F: South Africa, 10 cents ($0.01)
Coin G: Turkey, 1 lira ($0.64)
Coin H: Thailand, 10 baht ($0.29)
Coin I: Thailand, 5 baht ($0.14)

Redneck...really interesting finds. Makes me jealous that there are no coin sorting machines at any of my financial institutions.

Cerulean...thanks for posting the photos. Nice looking coins.

This is so much fun to see what everyone finds.

Continued success.

So people just left those coins because the machine rejected them? Wow, I need to start checking those things!

You found a nice little stash. If you have one or two branches that you frequent, get to know the head teller. Ask him/her to ask his/her team to set aside any foreign coins they find. I've been told that they will offer them back to the customer who is making the deposit (assuming coin counter is behind the teller line) and if the customer doesnt want it, alot of times they will throw the foreign coins away.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

That's what a few of my branches do. Crazy....

I accumulate foreign as well as US coins and I have found the Krause World Coins catalogs invaluable for id-ing foreigns, especially non-anglo coins. They are available in 18th, 19th and 20th century-to date issues. Not cheap, but great reference material.

Those are great reference materials. I have the 1901-2000 catalog and I think I paid about $50 for it. Even on Ebay, the cheapest I found for a copy that was a couple of years old was $28. Maybe check your local used book stores or ask your coin shops if they have old copies for sale.
