In addition to it being a ridiculous auction, I see a major red flag.
Look at the photos at the bottom. In the left column, the third and forth photos down are Photoshopped. Same wrapper, same white specs in the upper right corner, but different coins. |

The way I read it, those are stock photos.. not the actual coins you will receive. If you read his feedback you will see that some of the folks actually realized what they bought after the fact.. lol. As they say, "A fool and his money.. are lucky enough if they get together in the first place.
His rolls are really half rolls.. they contain 25 coins per the description.
And how does a guy get "bank wrapped rolls" that are really half rolls of pennies? And how does he get the machine to roll various denominations in the same roll? I have 3 rolling machines, and not a single one of them has a setting for half rolls of pennies. Half rolls of nickels and quarters, yes, but not pennies. I have never seen half roll of penny paper offered for sale at any of my bank supply houses. Also, normal rolling machines would automatically shoot a silver dime into the reject bin if you tried to roll it with the machine set to pennies. I was thinking he might be cutting down a standard penny cartridge and then using a twist-n-crimp or crimping machine to seal the other end. But getting the stripes on each end is difficult to do if you are only rolling 25 coins. The rolls look kind of mutant.. but it is interesting that he can do it. They are easy to weather the way he did it to make them look older. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

And with silver dimes showing... I've sorted a bunch of pennies and only found 2 dimes, neither silver, and definately not at the end of a roll. Odds: 1/100000000000000000000000000 |

Yeah, this guy has been running this scam for months now... I'm amazed that he gets any bids on such a blatant set-up, much less these ridiculously high ones.
It never ceases to amaze me at just how much money there is to be made out there if you have a little creativity and a total lack of integrity *shakes head in dismay* |
Considering Verizon Business service? Perhaps you'd like to consider a nice drain cleaner enema instead? |

Yep, just click on each photo and see how they are the same roll, just with the coin image changed. |
