I got a 54 and a 64 from one box with 21 rolls remaining. This will probably be my best dime box. I went in to buy two rolls of dimes today, well, my main reason was to see if they had any halves but I had been pestering them a lot for halves so I asked for two rolls of dimes and then asked if they "just happened" to have any halves. They didn't, but one of the two dime rolls had a 63 roos. I went back in and bought the ten or so remaining rolls the teller had. I just wasn't satisfied with only two rolls of dumpage. :-)

Are these paper or plastic wrapped rolls? I picked up two boxes of plastic wrapped rolls and kind of knew I was apt to get skunked. Not sure if it is because they are Brinks-sourced or if because these are plastic wrapped and easy to spot any silver edged dimes. I'll stick with the non-Brinks,paper-wrapped boxes next time. |

Right now, I have both plastic and paper rolls of dimes. The plastic rolls I always get with the brinks boxes. That said, sometimes brinks uses paper, on pennies and halves. I don't even know the name of the other company, the one that gives paper rolls and has the boxes with sight holes for each roll. .maybe its Wells Fargo? I like the paper rolls, you can re-use the wrapper. |

I correct myself. I found a 1964 dime in the rolls this morning. Woo hoo. At least I am not skunked now. That was all I was expecting to find at best too. The reed edge is dirty enough that it was overlooked by me in the roll check (duh!). I am emptying the rolls this morning onto the table and checking dates meticulously. 0ne silver dime = ~$1 in value. It will help pay for the gasoline used to get the rolls. LOL. |

I have never seen paper wrapped rolls in a Brinks box from Brinks. Maybe a box was filled with CWR's or something. Brinks rolls are the "condom" variety. The boxes with holes are from Loomis around here.

Notabigdeal, I may be wrong about the pennies, but I am looking at a paper wrapped roll of half dollars right now, and it says BRINKS on the roll. These brink's rolls come in a squat, cube of a box. Loomis is the name I was forgetting. I think that at times, I get used to the way things are in my locale, and I generalize those situations to other locales. |

Yeah, I was talkin' pennies. The half dollars, you are correct. I should have been more clear. Good luck sorting, find some silver.
