cant sleep. open another box.insult to injury of last nights sale , less than face value

this box is the pits. 25% new , 25% that must have been found on salt water beaches..... very corroded culls.
and about 5% cu.
but second roll yielded my 4th steelie.... and only reason i noticed it amoung the culls, was rust. lolol

You are in a little bit of a slump. It will get better. Those new ones might sell above face.. are they P or D mints?

At least you found a steelie though. No market for pond pennies as far as I know.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Your corroded coins could very well be metal detecting finds that were turned in.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

I got a bag a few weeks ago that looks like it came from a beach with very fine sand. Still have the bag as it will not be going through the Ryedale. I figure I'll mix it in with my returns this weekend....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I soak a lot of Cu disks in Isopropal Alcohol prior to long term storage to make them a lot more appealing.
It really cleans them up nicely.
The really scummy pond pennies go into the jugs I'll sell first when the melt ban lifts.

There's profit if you melt things!!
