Being the last in the Memorial cent series would it be smart to put these in the Keeper pile? Make a few rolls and throw them on ebay or something. And if so would it be possible to buy straight from the mint on these? I was on the online buy in the mints website and the only bulk buy items are Dollars, Halves, and Quarters.

I've been selling whole boxes on ebay. $40+ for a box.
If I come up with an extra roll (like I did last week) I'll post it for you if you want it.

Have you been getting them from your searches? Dividing them up by mint dates? I think thats what I want to do, not sure if I actually want to buy them as they are.

I'd hold off until I see the mintage figures.
I'm betting '08 is going to be one of the highest seen yet.
If you want a roll of '08's just buy a $25 brick, you'll have a roll of '08's (minimum) for sure.

Seems like there would be a limited demand for assembled rolls of 2008 circulated pennies. I see enough 2008 Lincolns here in Canada to build rolls of them myself. Go for the ugly old Cu and spend the pretty new zinc ones.

I've been following the Mint's production figures all year. I'd be surprised if 2008 isn't the mintage low point of the entire 1982-2008 zinc Lincoln memorial cents. This year will likely become the key date for the zinc memorial cent series.

Keep your boxes of 2008 Lincoln cents next to your boxes of Susan B. Anthony dollars.

Well, I guess I could keep a roll of '08's.
Lord knows they're all over the boxes I've sorted lately.
It's not like a roll would have that big a foot print.
Do you think I should keep it with my rolls of Wheats?

One of my sorting boxes two weeks ago was 100% (looking at the ends) 2008's. I kept it just to say I have a box.

I kept one box for myself.

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

OK, I'm intrigued enough to keep some Zinc.
I'll save a roll of select '08's P & D just in case there's a numismatic value for my grand kids.
But my bank box is getting kind of full.
Maybe I should see if I can get a free one at one of my dump banks, if I choose the correct account?
