Hello everyone. Well, I took a small break in sorting pennies so that I could organize and roll all the copper that I had. My wife said that I needed to get things organized since I had buckets all over the place. I took some advice from some fellow hoarders and bought a Royal Sovereign 4DA and several boxes of N.F. string penny rolls. Wow, if I had the money I should have bought a CS-10. Anyways, after a month and a half working 3 to 4 hours every night after work I've accomplished rolling my entire hoard. I have had 4 banks saving me their brinks boxes since in my stupidity have been getting rid of them as I sorted. I feel very good about getting this done, but unfortunately due to doing this it has come to my wife's attention how much I really have, LOL. The copper market doesn't look very good right now, but I'm going to start up the Ryedale again tonight and see if I can remember how to do that Wild Indian dance again.

When my wife got after me it sounded like "Blah,Blah,Blah", but now it sounds like "Clink,Clink,Clink". Its amazing what that Ryedale can do for a hounded husband. |

Yup should have bought the CS-10 over the RS. I ended up with both, but now the RS gathers dust mostly (still good for mixed change). CS-10 saves a lot of time for sure.
That is a big job! Just wait till you want to scrap all those pennies - and the fun of unwrapping them all. Now just make sure the wife does not go depositing all your rolled copper now. |

Yeah, rolling them up and putting them in boxes does make it easier for her to do the calculations. I have been known to roll up a few occasionally. Having automatic rolling machines is even better than having a CS-10. Usually I just either leave them in buckets or bag them up in some mint bags that hold a ton each.
Look at it this way.. the downside risk on the copper pennies is really low right now. They are even selling above melt right now. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

The CS-10 has saved me plenty of time counting change. Just finished counting $500 in halves. I wish I had it when I when through my tub of 30,000 cents.
Now for that automatic rolling machine... |
