I do not know if this is worth the effort, but at this point it might be up some of your alleys here. Tell me if this is a bunch of BS or if it is true. I clipped a link for the info trail here:

You must be logged in to see this link.(A_to_Z)/ETFs_I/threadview?m=te&bn=29797&tid=19108&mid=19108&tof=3&frt=2#19108

You will have to cut and paste the link. Read the thread and tell me if this is true. If it is, it may explain ASE pricing levels to some extent.

I hardly think Microsofts Live.com promotion is driving the price of silver up on ebay.

Trolling is an art.

There are people out there that are upping the prices slightly because of this (Mainly the Buy it now group). But I would suspect the Live/com has some affect. People are willing to big higher because they know they will get a rebate.

The problem I see is that you can usually find silver 25% cheaper someplace other than Ebay. For example, I checked this morning and ingots at Apmex are $1.00 to $2.00/oz cheaper than Ebay. That's only 8% cheaper, but that was just a quick check.

Bear in mind that those kooks and maples and eagles will be selling for spot when the price goes up, and so will the casting grain now selling for 69 cents to $1 over, so your premium is basically wasted. A 25% rebate only relieves part of the premium.

A penny sorted is a penny earned!
