I sold some silver today and got some change out of the transaction. I was excited to see that one of the pennies I was handed was a wheatie, but rather than make a scene I figured I'd wait to celebrate :). I got home, pulled them out of my pocket and was a little surprised to find 2 wheats and a 1945 nickel.
Is it odd that that would happen a coin dealer shop?
Trust me, he will make up for it when he sells your silver. But like coin hunter said he might just be saying thanks for doing business here. I would remember that next time I had something for sale.
