I am just getting started in this new hobby, but my hand soarted hoard grew tonight.

I recieved $25 in CWR today at my local bank, 20 rolls were the normal striped rolls, the rest were solid red paper rolls. Once I got home I eagerly tore into these old rolls to see what I had found. To my great delight, they were almost all copper! The newest cents I found were 1983 and 1984 cents that looked brand new. Out of 30 rolls, there were:
61 1983 & 84 zinc
77 unsorted 1982s
218 copper canadian cents
19 wheats
and all the rest were US copper.
I think some were rolled in 75-76 (the newest in the rolls) and the rest were rolled in 84-85 (the newest were 84s)

The rest of the box were newer striped rolls, the typical 25-30% copper.

All in all, a good night of sorting.

Nice finds. Sometimes solid copper happens. Keep up the search!

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

They yield about the same percentages here. I get them all the time!

I would keep the new 83s and 84s also. Might find a ddr on the 83 or a doubled ear lobe on the 84. Plus you dont see a lot of new 83's-87s well i dont

Inquiring minds want to know
