I am just getting started in this new hobby, but my hand soarted hoard grew tonight.
I recieved $25 in CWR today at my local bank, 20 rolls were the normal striped rolls, the rest were solid red paper rolls. Once I got home I eagerly tore into these old rolls to see what I had found. To my great delight, they were almost all copper! The newest cents I found were 1983 and 1984 cents that looked brand new. Out of 30 rolls, there were: 61 1983 & 84 zinc 77 unsorted 1982s 218 copper canadian cents 19 wheats and all the rest were US copper. I think some were rolled in 75-76 (the newest in the rolls) and the rest were rolled in 84-85 (the newest were 84s)
The rest of the box were newer striped rolls, the typical 25-30% copper.
Nice finds. Sometimes solid copper happens. Keep up the search!

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams
