I bought a box of pennies and I was told it contained all new 2008 cents.
The box was marked N F String & Son Inc and had green dots on it. The dots were the size of a penny and were apparently made by an ink stamp the kind used to mark bingo cards.
Again, I don't know if this was ever mentioned before, but if you get a box marked in such a way you can skip sorting and just cash it in. I did double check one of the rolls to make sure and they were all dated 2008.
The ebay price on these have come down a bit since I sold mine back in May for around $70....but I agree with fb101...$40 is still a nice way to profit from what would otherwise be a returned box.
