Hope that deal works out for you and they aren't expected a huge number of wheats or something... Anyways, nice deal for you! You even stated there is only $120 worth of copper in the lot...

| The bidders obviously read something into your description. They are expecting something other than coppers. It will be interesting to see if you get paid and what kind of feedback they leave you. I would send the second place bidder a second chance offer. |

It seems pretty cut and dry with me, description is vague on wheats but not IMO misleading at all.

Congrats on a good sale Nickelless. Good to see the market heating up a little again. I think it might be a record for this year but I had a few go higher than that last year.
The good news is I recognize the bidder name and he is legit. More good news.. he usually pays by check so you won't have to eat any PayPal fees on this one. He is a good guy and his checks are always good so no need to wait for it to clears before shipping. You can just hold a bag of my pennies until his check clears if that makes you more comfortable. |

LOL.. no hurry.. if you need to use mine to get a shipment out on time I can wait. I got in about 20 bags of copper last week that I am still refining and I stiil have my regular sorting progressing at a good clip. As long as you don't start charging me storage (like TenBears does for mythical silver) I am cool. |

Just curious, what do you think is vague about wheats? Should I add a more explicit disclaimer that coins found in previous lots do not guarantee their presence in future lots? I don't want to insult bidders' intelligence by unnecessarily stating the obvious, but I don't want my description to be construed as vague--which I don't think it is, but I'm curious to know what you were referring to. |

I think your description is clear on the wheats. You might want to change "number" to "few." "Number" is construed by many to be more than a few. You might check copper prices also.. I don't think they are "hovering around $4 a pound" anymore. Also I think the melt value per unit has dipped below 2.5 cents. Whatever you do, don't show any pics with Indian Head cents showing. I don't mention wheats in my ad at all. There are probably a few there, but nobody is going to complain about getting them. |

I don't have a lot of faith in the U.S. government.. and their credit rating has declined lately.
I'm sure we can work something out in exchange for some sort of domestic units. |

Good sale - be interesting to see if they want another bag included with the shipping. I've seen that buyer name before too. Are they a member here, or is that HCBTT's buyer account? At these prices Nickelless you can afford to buy a few IH pennies - and you should buy them and not count on finding them in circulation.

LOL.. you should always worry when I am top bidder on one of your auctions. If I were to win you don't need to send me any IH pennies.. I find plenty of them in circulation. |

| The new bonus wording just effectively capped the price of the auctions. It is now obvious that you are not expecting a value much north of $90 or so. Hope I'm wrong. I throw in a bid and for once in my life have outbid HCBTT. |

How so, Legacypac? Does it read like that's some kind of threshold now? Should I have Hoard retract his bid so I can change the listing? It seems to me that someone else on here--maybe it was Hoard--had a similar bonus on one of their eBay auctions a while back.
**EDIT** I've just sent Hoard a message to see what he thinks.
Also, Legacypac, I couldn't ship these to you anyway since you're in Canada. Unless you have a P.O. box or other address just across the border, which could mean you're a copper smuggler. Seriously, if both of you think it would be advantageous for me to change my listing and raise the threshold for free Indian Heads, I would have no complaints if you retracted your bids, and I guess I couldn't change the listing unless you retract your bids. |

| If you want to change it, you're better off cancelling their bids. If they retract their bids, it shows up on their profiles for 6 months. |
