I can get BWR's, but in order to get CWR's, should I call my bank and tell them 'If any customers come in with large amounts of CWR's to call me and i'll buy them from you for cash?' or what should I say?
And this is CWR's in general, for pennies more specifically, but everything.

| Probably locally-owned, low-count branch banks have similar situation. Around my area, there are a few bank companies that have maybe a dozen branches at most. Some only have have 3 or 4 branches total. If you get to know the tellers at them, chances may be that you could swap zinc for CWRs on occasion I bet. You do not want to saturate an area with zinc dumping or tick off tellers by repeated CWR requests I find. Most bank tellers don't mind a visit now and then when I cold call for coins, but I think they could cut me off tactfully by knowing ahead of time to just say they do not have CWRs if they just do not want me to stop in and do a cold call anymore. |

| Best way to get more CWR is to buy more coins. Seriously... more volume equals more CWR to sort. If a teller is willing to sell you lots of coin, NEVER turn it down even if it is spanking new or marked sorted by you (unless you can't afford it). You can always dump the coin again, but a happy teller is worth a lot. It might be ok to gently suggest "those blocks of coin looks nice" if you have a good relationship with a teller, but don't go in asking for CWR or Customer Wrapped Rolls or no Bank Wrapped Rolls (our terms) because a roll of coin is a roll of coin to most tellers - and they do not see any differance between CWR and BWR. Trying to explain the differance is pointless, confusing and will likely get you cut off. I know from painful experiance. |

Like legacypac said, NEVER turn down ANY cents. A lot of banks will be more than happy to give you their CWR, it just takes time to build up a good relationship. Tell the tellers you have arthritis and can't open the plastic rolls as easy or something.

Live free or die. Plain and simple.
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |
