I disagree that FRN (Federal Reserve Notes) are worth more than nickels or any other coinage the goverment mints. The intrinsic value of coinage is worth more than the paper and promise FRNs are printed on.

What in the heck am I going to do with them now? Why roll around in them as always, of course!

1. Trade them for cheap silver.
2. Use them as ballast -- much better than paper money in this regard.
3. Bankroll the local neighborhood gamblers who like to use nickels in their poker games.
4. Hold them for emergency and survival cash. Coin is always better than paper for these purposes.
5. Apply to the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest nickel hoard.
6. Trade them for inexpensive gold.
7. Sort them for silver and other goodies just for the fun of it.

"Rich," the Old Man said dreamily, "is not baying after what you can't have. Rich is having the time to do what you want to do. Rich is a little whiskey to drink and some food to eat and a roof over your head and a fish pole and a boat and a gun and a dollar for a box of shells. Rich is not owing any money to anybody, and not spending what you haven't got." Robert Ruark

I'm going to keep looking for 99% Ni nickels :) I pull the US ones too (even find whole rolls) and if this price drop keeps up and the US dollar stay strong I'll trade them in for my currency profit of 5%+
